Sales Associate/Key Holder (Former Employee), Pasadena, CA – November 25, 2014
I loved my co-workers! I got along with every single one of them. It was always a great time working with them. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to advise and give your client your personal input.
District Sales Manager (Current Employee), Motherhood Division – January 10, 2014
This is a great company to work for, as they are truly Client focused. Many companies will claim this, but not practice what they preach. The relationship with the Client is a perk of this job, as we play such an important part of her experience as a pregnant woman and a new Mom. Fashion here is moving quickly and the 'image' of the stores is rapidly – more... changing for the better! – less

Sales Associate (Former Employee), New York, NY – August 12, 2013
Pros: amazing networking with amazing customers
Cons: management was pathetic at best while i was there, but i hear they have turned it around.
Working in the middle of NYC you come to find that making friends in the work place isn't the best idea. The place you work (even if you aren't making commission) is going to try and pit you against your fellow associate to make it so you will do anything to make the most. Effective? Absolutely. Nerve-racking to the point where you can't trust the men – more... and women you work with? Definitely. However, the one thing that made it all worth it was the fantastic customers that would come in from all around the world. We've gotten to meet all walks of life; from the fabulously rich and famous to the simply wonderful yet unknown families. Their thanks and comments made everyday worth coming into work for. – less

Pea in the Pod Lead Associate (Current Employee), Bloomington, MN – July 1, 2013
The best part of the job is connecting with the client and making her feel beautiful and special during her pregnancy. The hardest part of retail are the hours, the peak hours are evenings and weekends which are the times my family is home. I miss out on a lot of family time.
Great way to cummuincate with clients during a special time in there life.

Pros: great for full time
Cons: work weekends
This company is a great way to find excellent customer service for pregnant mothers to be. I have grown from all my store managers and taken what they showed me to become a better customer service attendant. As well as a more open and well rounded Co manager. The most enjoyable part of this company is the people all around your distric everyone is really – more... united and we all try to help each other become better and strive to become a top distric as a team. – less
Assistant Manager (Former Employee), Westlake, OH – April 7, 2013
Destination Maternity was a great experience. I recieved the pleasures of growing with my clientelle throughout their wonderful journey. My management skills have grown with this company. I have learned to carry myself with a sort of stature. Consolidations, shipment and floorsets were a part of my duty at DM. The toughest part of my job was to achieve – more... a sense of indepedence at the work place. In the past, my other jobs had a staff of two or more during a shift; though at Destination Maternity shifts were covered by one person. – less
LEAD SPA RECEPTIONIST (Former Employee), New York, NY – March 21, 2013
Pros: loving what i did
Cons: moral of management
Changing from Destination Maternity to Edamame Spa was one of the best things but a hard transformation. It was little room for advancement and you had to jump through hoops to reach it. I enjoyed my job but the management was very stuffy and never willing to change.
