The place really has the guests in mind
Housekeeper - Commons (Current Employee) –  Tabernash, COMarch 8, 2016
Pretty accommodating to their employees. You work your butt off for them and they'll take care and look out for you. You slack off and get slow, they'll look to phase you out. Good place if you want to be proud of the restaurants on the Ranch. The menu's are excellent and the server's do a solid job on making the guests feel warm.

You need a vehicle in the snowy weather to keep your sanity intact. Public transportation is hard if you're in the wrong place. The snow keeps you from walking and distances are far in between towns. Winterpark is the closest spot you'll get for social events. Bars and restaurants spot the town but it's a 25/30 minute drive and DUI's are heavy in this area.
Pros
Generous and grateful to their employees
Cons
If you don't ski or snowboard, it gets lonely real fast

Front Office Manager (Former Employee) –  Tabernash, coOctober 10, 2015
Busy, busy property that is supported by all lines of employees. From owners mopping the floor during a full flip of the property to trails guys helping with a corporate party arrival. Thus property is more than just a place to stay and you are fully supported.
Pros
Benefits, development & growth opportunities
Cons
Not every employee is there for the right teasons.

Server (Former Employee) –  tabernash COMay 27, 2015
Maybe due to the international worker turn-over, but management treats people like kindergartners. Many strict rules and corporate feel, which goes against the general culture around a mountain town.

Over-priced menu that was hard to up-sell since it was nothing I thought tasted good. Hated selling people $70 dishes that were more fancy-words than legitamately good meals.
Pros
none, you have to buy everything
Cons
not treated as equal, employees treated like children

I was given a lot of opportunities to grow and learn in an amazing mountain location with a lot of very talented co-workers. Loved the clients!
