No room for growth
Student Services (Current Employee), NapervilleJuly 16, 2014
Pros: colleagues, felxability
Cons: support, growth
This appears to be a great company, however, if you have aspirations to grow you will not get any help. They talk about growth and development, but, there is not action! I have been with the company for over a year and have not found any support to transition into a role I would be more suitable for. Be very cautious.

DeVry Chamberlain Online
Admissions Advisor (Current Employee), Addison, ILFebruary 4, 2014
Cons: extreme micromanagement
Admissions office is a very repetitive position. You are led to believe that they have state of the art training and portray themselves as a career university, but the reality is far from it.

Good effort but poor management
Supervisor IT Help Desk (Former Employee), Oak Brook, ILFebruary 3, 2014
Pros: stability
Cons: managers, career advancement
The managers at this company is what influenced my decision to leave. I loved the team, the job and the environment for the most part. The manager level and above didn't seem to have an interest in work/life balance, mentoring and career path. At times they appear to care but then the employees' needs get pushed to the back burner and forgotten about – more... until HR is pushing for development plans or engagement surveys are coming around. – less
