Customer Care Support Representative -

Join the DiVal Safety Equipment team in our Buffalo, NY headquarters as a member of our fast paced and dynamic team. The focus of this position is assisting the Sales team by entering customer orders and quotes to ensure DiVal delivers the highest level of customer service while maintaining workflow to meet defined daily workload targets.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Process customer orders, returns, exchanges and contract pricing through the mainframe (AS400) system
  • Enter sales quotes through CRM as requested by customers within a 2 hours of receiving the request – follow through to Stage 2
  • Obtain proof of delivery
  • Coordinate expedites
  • Process and approve new item requests (NIR) submitted by Sales Reps
  • Complete daily workload within defined timelines set by management, i.e. all work requests submitted before 4pm to be completed same business day
  • Contact customers and/or Sales Reps to verify account information
  • Work as part of a team with co-workers, sales and management
  • Perform general data entry functions in addition to those listed above

Skills and Requirements -

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills a must
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
  • High School diploma / GED equivalent with 1-3 years prior customer service experience a plus
