I was first a floater at the diagnostic clinic. I was able to work in almost all specialty departments. After about a year of floating I took a job as a desk nurse for a new incoming doctor. I was able to assist the doctor with the day to day tasks of her practice and got to know her on a business casual level. I loved working for her and helping her with her patients. At the Diagnostic Clinic we were like family and helped each other out. I was the IV team leader and would help with retraining for other nurses that hadn't done IV's in a while. I think the hardest part of the job was just having to say goodbye to the patients that had made your life enjoyable.
