Auto Damage Adjuster/Appraiser (Former Employee) – East Texas – January 17, 2014
I worked for DNA for a little over a year. When I first got hired, I was amazed at the extremely low pay scale they had, but I was determined to do a good job and work my way up the ladder and get advancements and raises. Little did I know that the word "raise" is not in their vocabulary, nor is transparency in work assignments. The assignments came up to approximately half of what I had expected at best, and there were several weeks that I received only 1 or 2 assignments, with no explanation as to why.
the good- they paid me what they stated they would pay me, and paid on time for the most part (although "bank system errors" near payday became frequent, and paychecks were a day or two late at the most).
the bad- lack of assignments, low pay scale, and then the inside adjuster altering your estimate, only to get it back from the shop in the form of a supplement that you must address (for free), due to some of the changes that were made by the inside adjuster.
