Very Laid Back
Financial Assistance Officer (Former Employee), Multiple CampusesAugust 3, 2013
Pros: fun, easy going work environment
Cons: pay could be a little higher
A typical work day requires you to meet with prospective students. I learned a lot about financial aid because the person that trained me was very diligent and always available to answer questions. There was always someone available at the home office to assist and answer questions, if needed. Management was very fair and there was a family environment. – more... The most enjoyable part about the job is that it is a very laid back environment and you get to help people start a career. The only con is that the pay was low. That is the only reason I left. – less

Admissions=Sales
Admissions Officer (Former Employee), Little Rock, ARMarch 5, 2013
Pros: good benefits, good for recent grads, entry level
Cons: high pressure, for-profit school
Diesel Driving Academy is a great company to work for. The business is small, tight knit, you will get a chance to know everybody. However, If you are an Admissions Officer you better hit your numbers consistently. They have no issue with letting people go for not enrolling enough "potential" candidates. Make no mistake, this is a sales job and requires – more... a sales-person demeanor. – less
