Horrible leadership
Financial Aid Officer (Former Employee) –  Lithia Springs, GAOctober 5, 2015
If you're opinionated and like to offer suggestions to better your work environment this job is not for you.
If you have the mindset of only doing the job you were hired to do this job is not for you. There will be plenty of times when you will be asked to do things that aren't in your job description. DDA is a family owned and operated business so if you're not related to the owners or work in the cooperate office you don't matter and will be replaced if they sense that you have common sense and catch on to the scam of an overpriced education which they offer to students whom they know can't afford to pay.
Pros
Set schedule
Cons
low wages, bad leadership

Business Officer Manager/ Financial Aid Officer (Former Employee) –  Lithia Springs, GAMay 12, 2014
The trucking school open March 19,2014. Due slow start-up there was limited office supplies and was very difficult to get instructors DOT certified. Due to having so instructor the original starts date have been push back at least four times. Once they locate instructors it will be a great school.

Very Laid Back
Financial Assistance Officer (Former Employee) –  Multiple CampusesAugust 3, 2013
A typical work day requires you to meet with prospective students. I learned a lot about financial aid because the person that trained me was very diligent and always available to answer questions. There was always someone available at the home office to assist and answer questions, if needed. Management was very fair and there was a family environment. The most enjoyable part about the job is that it is a very laid back environment and you get to help people start a career. The only con is that the pay was low. That is the only reason I left.
Pros
fun, easy going work environment
Cons
pay could be a little higher

Admissions=Sales
Admissions Officer (Former Employee) –  Little Rock, ARMarch 5, 2013
Diesel Driving Academy is a great company to work for. The business is small, tight knit, you will get a chance to know everybody. However, If you are an Admissions Officer you better hit your numbers consistently. They have no issue with letting people go for not enrolling enough "potential" candidates. Make no mistake, this is a sales job and requires a sales-person demeanor.
Pros
good benefits, good for recent grads, entry level
Cons
high pressure, for-profit school
