These people are not honest - don't work there

Was brought in to turn around a failing project and was told they wanted me full time permanent and that there were lots of projects for me. Found out that they did this because I replaced 3 people and was working 60 - 80 hours a week for the full engagement. The project ended successfully, ahead of schedule and under budget.

DISYS wanted to limit their expenses by not paying for time worked. At the end of the project I was told that Management had decided to not have any full time folks and would only have Contractors. I was also told that there was no more projects at that time.

Great company and great people. Recruiting full cycle is always fun as you see the back end of what is going on as this is how a typical day goes. The hardest part is getting passive candidates to stay committed. Enjoy the environment and everyone there.

Fast paced work environment, highly productive and everchanging

A typical day consisted of several daily meetings to go over open requisitions with assigned VMS accounts. Addressed allocation of new requisitions as well as coverage of any notes that would help the recruiting team and addressed any areas of concern regarding compliance. Prepared for any upcoming projects and addressed them during meetings as well in order to begin pipe-lining candidates. The hardest part of the job was preparing for the unknown, we always had to be prepared for everything. Things changed from one second to the next. The most enjoyable part of the day was also that things changed daily, there was never a dull moment and the leadership team was open and willing to change when a change was necessary.

-Install/configure/repair network and local printers.
-Train clients on basic computer knowledge.
-Communicate and interact as required with end users and internal staff.
