Cons: sometimes a little too nice -- that is, a little too much emphasis on consensus when a strong pov, however controversial, is more warranted
The hardest part of the job is that the company is very lean so it always feels like you're a little short staffed. There are numerous opportunities, both vertical and horizontal, to advance or change jobs. The people are what really make it an excellent place to spend all the hours it takes to do what we do. Senior management is highly engaged and – more... makes a herculean effort to reach out to all corners of the company. The only thing that is really missing (and this is not small) is a well defined vision of its mission. As a result I think people can feel as if the place is a bit rudder bit rudderless at times. – less
