Assistant to the president of a busy bookkeeping office. Winning candidate will have an aptitude for numbers, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent telephone & organizational skills, good grammar, and the ability to remain calm while multitasking. Must be capable of performing various mathematical calculations, be willing to follow directions & work diligently without supervision. Word, Excel, email, & adding machine proficiency essential. We will train you to process payrolls and use our software to prepare checks to pay client bills. Non-smoker. Bondable. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality in handling sensitive client information and have the ability to exercise discretion.
Each day is filled with a diversity of tasks ranging from putting postage on outgoing mail, to scheduling our courier for client deliveries, ordering office supplies, answering phones and maintaining our electronic inter-office calendar & task list.
