Director of Operations, Sacramento, CA - February 4, 2016
If you were to look up "the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing"....... you will find Dignity Health number 1 on that list. In 30+ years of employment, have never seen anything like it. Additionally, I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner.
There was not one system in place that worked well or was useful in any way whatsoever. The HR department was extremely dysfunctional. Everything I went to them for was seemingly trial and error for them. Never any solid answers or information that they presented could be perceived as accurate, appropriate or professional. It felt as though they were always starting from scratch and re-inventing the wheel.
Pay was adequate/appropriate for myself. Their policies on how much one should be paid leaves something to be desired. They do not understand the concept of previous employment and that experience should count for something when determining an appropriate rate of pay.
