Comfortable environment
Account Executive (Current Employee), Chantilly, VAJuly 5, 2014
This job is very difficult and challenging. As an Account Executive
I make hundreds of phone calls per day to businesses to analyze their merchant processing. Its a numbers game and you must keep
making calls until someone is willing to give you a chance. You
must be persistent and maintain a great attitude despite being
sworn at, hung up on, and belittled. – more... Businesses get several calls a day about their credit card processing, and they view cold calling
as an interruption. Direct Connect has a very good approach, but limited in providing leads. – less

Regional Director (Current Employee), Huntington BeachMarch 18, 2014
Pros: everyday is a prospect
Cons: 100 % commission

Selling Merchant Processing of Credit card, gift Card and loans based on their Merchant processing volume. selling of new processing machines. Installation of new machine. Educating them – more... on their billing statements and how Interchange works. the most enjoyable part of the day is saving people money and having them switch over with me. – less

Unconventional Family Run Office
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Vacaville, CAApril 3, 2012
Pros: laid back vibe (food, drinks, music, parties) family oriented, busy
Cons: very small uptight office who only hired women
Learned a lot about controling a conversation where I want it to go and to be able to make a completely cold relationship into a warm one in a matter of two to three minutes over the phone. What I enjoyed most about the job was convincing people to come into the dealer when they're set on another. They power of negotiation is very fun and I would love – more... to learn more about sales because of this opportunity. – less

Productive and fun work environment
Lead Generation Surveyor Agent (Former Employee), Melbourne, VicJuly 23, 2014
Pros: team social events at the end of every work week.
The work environment was very busy with constant calls back to back. This role taught me to remain calm when dealing with irate customers and also remaining focused when achieving daily targets.
There was always constant support when it came to improving performance output from management staff. The best part about working for this marketing company – more... was the balance of work and life style the provided extra support in terms of career progression. – less

Dynamic haulage company working to revolutionize the trucking and equipment industry
Chief Executive Officer (Current Employee), Kingston, JamaicaApril 18, 2014
A typical day at work is maintaining reliable trucks to continue hauling customer aggregates. It has taught me to have a lot of patience because the reality is that the equipment we have to work with is old and antiquated.

Hardest part of the job is the long hours and continous work throughout holidays.

Best part is meeting people in the industry – more... and helping them to resolve and problem solve. – less
