Marketing Advertiser (Former Employee), Ypsilanti, MIJuly 7, 2014
Pros: learning experience
Cons: n/a
Very exciting in learning marketing at its finest tier. Early two hour training each day to start the work day, and then out to the field which was considered big retails to market the brand. Using intelligent marketing schemes combined with solid communication skill, the professionalism easily went from repetition to a lifestyle.

Productive and experianced with telemarketing and sales
Telemarketer - Sales (Former Employee), Miami, FLJune 7, 2014
At Alorica working Direct TV everyday was fast paste. I learned how to clear a call within 7 min by my 2 week on the floor. My skills progressed as I continued working on the account over the months. I learned how to successfully close a sale with the customer feeling comfortable buying from me. However, the hardest part was to ask for their credit – more... card information because that question makes just about anyone uncomfortable. I loved to help customers with their questions and most of all I loved to leave the customers feeling lucky for buying one of your items. – less

My co-workers were pretty cool we had plenty laughs and fun. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the customers that didn't want to listen to what u had to say. Pros: many chances to earn extras.
Everyday was something new. A lot of the problems were the same but finding them and fixing them was always different because of the unique customers. Management was great, they allowed me to work during the busiest hours doing 10 hour shifts four days a week to get three days off.

Productive and fun work place
Customer Service (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CAMay 6, 2014
Pros: productivity
Cons: temporary
A typical day at work began with a warm welcoming smile, as well as a cup of coffee. Following, the team would have a meeting in order to make sure everyone is aware of productivity, goals, problems and solutions. Further more the team would discuss nessarry actions and with out hesitation the wonderful mission would start; in which, accomplishing the – more... objective and goals are the most rewarding part of the day, while the hardest part of the job is communication barriers that may take place when muti-language is not present. – less

Pros: constantly talking and meeting people all day.
Cons: even though you are interacting with people all day long there is no face to face customer service.
I got to use my great customer service skills in the comfort of my own home. This position was a home based position, also the management was amazing, They were on stand by the entire time you were at work. All questions will always get answered and no one if life in the blind. It was a fast past position the entire time that i was on the clock. Energetic learning experience, but hard to pay bills
Salesman (Former Employee), Fredericksburg, VAApril 19, 2014
Pros: paid gas taxes
The hardest part of the job was walking around best buy and trying to convince people they wanted something they did not come to the store for. You are paid every time you get someone to sign up for direct tv and it has been successfully installed in the customers home A lot of times even if you have convinced some one in the store to put their signature – more... on the papers for direct tv installation and 4 year contract, when direct tv installers arrive at their house they either forgot or simply changed there minds and direct tv says that is allowed. So in those cases you do not get paid. There was also a 350 dollar base pay but sometimes if you had a bad week you could end up owing money. The pay was inconsistent and I could not keep getting payed the amount I was if I wanted to keep up with my bills. I learned way more than I expected to. My co-workers and supervisors were great and I had professionals teach me the basics of convincing and sales. My social skills got better and I became more confident in myself. I learned a whole lot from this job but the pay wasn't consistent and I needed money to pay bills right away. – less
