Manager, Business Analytics
This purpose of this new role is to provide additional FP&A coverage across the business and to increase the amount of development needed to fulfill specialized requirements associated with the customer communication project and enhancing local business reporting.
o Customer database analysis and reporting
Assist in the creation of Business Objects reports on key customer attributes.
Create and maintain reporting segments based on local preferences
Analyze customer buying behavior (order channel, wine preference, etc.)
Coordinate data feeds to and from external database agency and validate results
o Monthly mailing, telemarketing, upgrade and holiday shipment file pulls
Amend code to add or modify criteria as needed
Pull list and supply information to vendors in proper format
Automate the mini-preview, wine recommendations emails and letter process
o Renewal analysis and reporting
Track and analyze wine plan yields, skips & cancels
Forecasting of future renewal sales and shipment quantities
Retention Modeling, based on Customer Attributes
LTV Trend Analysis.
Automating KPI reporting in Business Objects.
o Create reports using Business Objects
Build new reports to user specifications for refresh and review
Provide Business Objects user training
Document new reporting requirements or enhancements as needed
- Special Projects/Development
Create ad hoc SQL queries for special reporting needs
Aid in the automation of customer contact emails
Incorporate Bazaar Voice and ATG Data into Marketing Database
Assist the Customer Marketing team in increasing targeting (Mail & Phone)
Assist in Moving customer information to Bronto for target emails
Aid in the increasing analytical segments based on club preferences.
Add aggregated bottle level information to segments.
Track promotional data sent by customer (emails / dm)
Experience / Qualifications:
- Direct Marketing experience is preferred.
- Experienced SQL user
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
- Experience in creating and maintaining databases
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized with strong follow-through
- Proficient with Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Finance and/or IT education and experience
