Everyday of work started with a review of emails and processing Tech's orders. In this process I learned about the daily consumption of the inventory used by the Tech's. I would use this information to write consumption reports for the Tech's supervisor to review for their reports. That was the best part of the day. It gave me time to meet with and – more... learn new task from the Tech's. After the Tech's orders was picked up and processed the most challenging part of the day began. I would then return back to my email and print all orders from contractors. After all orders are printed I then give them to my crew to be pulled and packed. Once all orders are done for the day inventory counts our preformed. After inventory counts are turned in, I use them to come up with a daily and weekly consumption report. This process helps me with inventory ordering at the end of the week. – less
Cons: hostile customer calls, lackluster rewards program, alot of services based on half tuths
Directv works to make its employees as comfortable as possible. taking calls form customers can be hit or miss as many of them can be extremely irrate. Directv offers an arcade that you can use to go blow off steam when you need to. It gives yo a quick break when dealing with the really bad calls. the culture and people working there is vast and you – more... find a group to fit in with the work goes really well. Daily, as part of the Customer Retention Group, I would handle anything from saving customers from disconnecting service, remote activation of DTV products, processing new equipment orders, billing, upgrading service and equipment, disconnection of service and sending out technicians to trouble-shoot or do new service installations.
