Distinctive Health Care is actively recruiting Adult Psychiatrists to provide Behavioral Health Services to the Army. Distinctive Health Care is a healthcare staffing company specializing in providing a full range of clinical specialties to Military Treatment Facilities. Under the Army Behavioral Health Program, we are providing treatment to servicemen and women, and their families affected by multiple deployments and tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

To date, there are tremendous successes being accomplished by the clinicians who are working with these soldiers and their families, and opportunities for this work continues to grow. We currently have positions available at Ft Campbell, KY

We are seeking caring and dedicated Adult Psychiatrists to work with individuals and families in crisis, and their children facing depression and anxiety as a result of multiple and lengthy separations. The patient population includes cases of TBI, PTSD and depression following loss of limbs and other body functioning.

The work setting is a dynamic professional environment with opportunities to collaborate with a team of seasoned military and civilian Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers and Psychiatric Nurses. Psychiatrists and Behavioral Health clinicians are encouraged to provide a varied approach of treatment options within group and individual therapy practice.

To join our dedicated team of Psychiatrists, candidates must:

 Possess a Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited college approved by the APA, and

 Have attained successful completion of a residency program in psychiatry.

 Be Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or the American Osteopathic Association, and

 Have not less than 1 year of experience OR, graduation from a psychiatry residency program within the preceding 12 months, and

 Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands.
