I worked here almost a year and in that time they went through a ton of employees. When I left half of the agents had a tenure of under six months. I was not provided a meal break and my shifts were between 10.5-14.5 hours. I attempted to correct with management since I get low blood sugar but was told it was acceptable for coworker to sleep at his desk but not for me to have 30 minute meal break.
Some of my coworkers had criminal records including one of my bosses for varying charges from drugs to simple assault. The manager of the help desk patronized me. My coworkers tormented me. After I gave two weeks notice I was dismissed and upon leaving friends told me coworkers were excited. There is a lot of gossip and coworkers lied to manangment in an effort to get me fired.
The pay rate I received was decent for entry level but a lot of people here are not from an IT background and this was a really bad experience in so many ways. They also understaffed and then called you to come in. The non compete is really legally loosely written which is good though. It would never stand up in a court of law. You can't work for any similar business... What constitutes similar?
