The residents were the stars... the co workers were the weakest link. Mostly bully nurses.

It's a nice place to work depending on the Admin and DON. Nurses can be bullies and if the admin and DON don't address it bc they are under staffed then aides are usually unhappy and the turn over is high. The Diversicare i worked at was like this. Nurses were childish and bullies which left the facility understaffed. And the residents suffered. Eventually you get worried about your own certificates and quit.

I love going into work to take care of my residents. Upper management is a joke they don't show no respect or appreciate you coming in and working extra hours. They are all about themselves

This place will make you question your sanity. Nothing is ever good enough. It's something you've done wrong daily. A new rule everyday. Upper management is awful. Most of them are people that have gotten fired other places. Upper management are also sneaky. Everyone is miserable and burned out, unless you're a higher up and you can sit behind a computer and do nothing most all day. This company is going down hill fast.!

I am excited to go to work and interact with the residents, however, once work begins you are ready to clock out. No support from upper management, workplace is unfair in the way it treats employees.. if you truely care about the residents and do what is in their best interest management will not like you, but if you go to work and be lazy, don’t really care, and don’t fight for what’s best for the resident management will make you their best friend! I see how they get mad when I turn in grievance on residents not being taking care of properly. But then again I care to much to let them be treated poorly!

Drained. It sucks the life out of you. Without corporate and administration support, you're fighting just to do your job every day.
