DME provides Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services for a vast number of test sets, training devices and support systems. Expertise in the operation and maintenance of these devices has resulted in an Availability Rate (AR) of 100% over the past eight years. To ensure that the necessary resources are at the right place, at the right time, and in – more... the correct quantities to support efficient operations, DME maintains strategically placed field sites around the country that provide CLS support. Currently, DME provides technical support for over 1500 pieces of equipment and 10 million lines of code throughout the world for the U.S. Air Force's Test Systems Branch, the Special Operations Command and the Technical Applications Center; and the U.S. Army's Air Defense Artillery School, Field Artillery School, Ordinance Missile and Munitions Center/School, and Chemical Center.
FullTime and on-demand engineers are assigned to our support programs to take a proactive approach in identifying cost-effective solutions for obsolescence, technology insertion and high failure problems. We also identify and provide solutions for configuration concurrence between the training devices and the actual equipment.
DME provides Depot repair services for numerous customers and staffs a 1-800 hotline that assists our customers with technical support for products and services. The field support operation works closely with our engineering and manufacturing functions, providing efficient cost-effective solutions for maintenance problems. To provide the customer an extended life cycle, the engineering organization offers low cost solutions ranging from minor technology insertions to complete systems redesign.
