I've read some pretty conflicting opinions about DMi, and I think there is some truth to most of the reviews on here (negative and positive). However, I've been working at DMi for four years -- it's hard to imagine working somewhere else.
The Business Development role at DMi is probably not for you if you aren't willing to come in every day prepared to take chances. It's probably not for you if you get easily frustrated and won't take the time to learn why DMi does what it does (and how we do it). It might be for you if you are looking for a career in sales and problem solving.
I've seen several reps come and go over the years, but I've been lucky enough to witness many of them overcome their frustrations and become truly successful (in multiple senses of the word). I don't dread coming into work because so many people at DMi want to be at DMi, and it's pretty obvious once you're in the atmosphere.
Sales is a difficult career that isn't for everyone. Any blurb about sales jobs that are "amazing, easy, ultra-high-paying, etc.." might seem too good to be true (and that's because they are). DMi offers competitive solutions to Fortune 500 companies on a daily basis and we have the talent and products to have those companies sign the dotted line.
Highly recommend anyone looking to start a career in sales do so at DMi.
