This position will be responsible for performing engineering duties in planning and designing tools, tool holding products, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Oversee product from perspective of design, manufacturing, assembly, and customer use.
Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical and electrical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
A background in manufacturing for at least 1+ years experience is required. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and ability to interface with others and liaise with management.

*Determining the sequence of machine operations, and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine work pieces into the desired shapes.
*Revising programs to eliminate errors, and retest programs to check that problems have been solved.
*Analyzing job orders, drawings, blueprints and specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
*Determining reference points, machine cutting paths, or hole locations, and computing angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures.
*Observing machines on trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.
*Comparing g-code with original part specifications and blueprints to verify accuracy of instructions.
*Writing programs in the language of a machine's controller and store programs on media such as required by the controller.
*Modifying existing programs to enhance efficiency.
*Entering computer commands to store or retrieve parts patterns, graphic displays, or programs that transfer data to other media.
*Must have prior experience as a machinist.
*Experience with AutoCAD and Gibb scam software a plus.
