A Productive job with great benefits.
Housekeeper/Laundry Asst (Former Employee) –  Pueblo, CODecember 9, 2016
Had a routine every day doing the same thing. Loved it was a full time day job Monday through Friday with weekends off. Had cafeteria for lunch, did not need to go anywhere. The management was a little too serious and put stress us to be perfect. Always being monitored.
Pros
working for the military was great.
Cons
Management was pretty hard and cruel at times.

Housekeeping is the worst job there
Ex housekeeper (Former Employee) –  Pueblo, COSeptember 15, 2016
You will be expected to work your butt off for a little better then min wage. Mopping floors on your hands and knees. Supervisors harassing you about every spot you miss. No raises ever. Insurance provided cost 700 a month.
Pros
Good company as a whole just not housekeeping or kitchen
Cons
Low pay

Not a bad place to work for a new A&P mechanic
Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Current Employee) –  Pueblo, COAugust 28, 2016
This is a decent place to work if you are new to aircraft maintenance and are just learning the trade. The aircraft are not complicated to work on and the hours aren't bad. It can get very mundane and repetitive though. Management isn't bad but it's a military contract so you have that to deal with. Also, it's a union shop and because it's in Pueblo, CO, the pay isn't great.
Pros
Nice cafeteria on campus
Cons
It's in Pueblo, Colorado.

good place to work
A&P Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Air Force Academy, COApril 27, 2016
Good place to work, good work environment, co-workers are great, Management is good, Air Force personal are great, enjoyed working with the different squadrons. Corporate needs help, seems to have no idea what goes on at the site. Adds more management and not workers when it takes both to get the job done. To many Managers not enough workers. Can get real slow at times, during the winter and holidays but makes up for it during the summer when it gets very busy.
Pros
Break times are goods, good workplace
Cons
Can get slow during the winter and holidays

Manager (Current Employee) –  United States Air Force Acad, COFebruary 4, 2016
This is a contract maintence Company . So every 5-10 years the governement contract is up for re-bid. Not a lot of long time security.
Love the job..location. Company however, does not provide much chance of advancement or alternative employment once the contract expires. Nature of the business.
Pros
Compensation/ Benefits
Cons
advancement

Used to be a great company until it was sold to JF Lehman. Management is pathetic stating nicely!!
worker (Current Employee) –  Air Force Academy, COApril 8, 2015
Doss used to be a much desirable company to work for. It is no longer. Once sold to JFL its gone down hill quick. Too many managers with nothing to do constantly looking over your shoulder. The work is ok but definitely a resume dead end.
Pros
Good pay and 401k.
Cons
Medical benefits, MANAGEMENT
