A very unhealthy culture where condescending behavior is rewarded
Assistant Property Manager (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CAJanuary 13, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: toxic culture
Ethically questionable behaviors by management and unfair treatment of low ranking employees, along with inconsistency in policies and procedures make it difficult if not impossible to work and be productive at this company. Additionally, backstabbing and gossiping are rampant. All in all, a text book example of how an organization should not operate – more... in terms of treating employees. Pay rate is below, way below, industry's standard. Appropriate training is not provided to new employees. There is no such a thing as coaching and mentoring. No one cares about career development plans for staff. Mid level managers are incompetent and treat their staff in such a horrible condescending manner. However, from day one they constantly mention to new hires "how lucky" they must feel and "how grateful" they should be for having been hired by the company. Favoritism by managers is so obvious and sickening. If you dare to report any of mistreatment or misconduct of your manager to HR you will have to look for another job right away. Employees are not appreciated and or acknowledged for their hard work and loyalty. There are several class action law suits against the company. They offered $250 check to those who decided not to join the class action. If you want to be miserable day in and day and be humiliated for any questions you ask then this is the right place for you. – less

BAD PLACE TO WORK.
Building Engineer (Former Employee), Santa Monica PlaceAugust 6, 2013
Pros: they talk a very good game.
Cons: you will be replace by temp agency people
This company is not a very good employee friendly company. This company does not have your best interest in growth and the less they can pay you the better and the longer they can keep you under that rate the better.

As soon as they see that you have a Acquired higher qualifications and have the desire to move up they will replace you with temp agency – more... people
People that would do the work for half your pay.
From that point on they will look for every single reason to terminate you.

This company has been involved in several class-action lawsuit for mistreating employees and managers for not paying their overtime not paid Their Proper Wages.
Not individual lawsuits but class act lawsuits where people have gathered together to protest.

I was hired by this company and they paid me a very good rate but they make sure they found people from a temp agency to replace me before my 90 days were over.
They were short staffed at the moment so they brought in anybody at whatever rate at first it looked like a great opportunity for me I left my job of five years to come to realize that I would be terminated in less than two months.

This is not a company I would recommend for anybody that has many years in their current job.
They like to bring Third World country labor because it's cheap and temp agency people because there are desperate if you're skilled technician or a skilled person
Don't even consider this place. – less
