We want you to become immersed in our floral business and to work the existing e-mail marketing and print campaigns. Then develop a plan for all the divisions of our company that encompasses all areas of Internet marketing. Once these plans have been created, we want you to implement them. Your vision, creativity, experience, dedication, obsession and hard work will dictate the success of this division. This is a very hands-on position. You will be a staff of one working with the owner, our department heads and, our various Website vendors. We all wear a lot of hats and I would also envision your participation in other aspects of our floral business from time to time.

Internet Marketing: Develop and update a comprehensive Internet marketing strategy and operational plan. Manage online marketing programs, including pay-per-click campaigns, paid inclusion listings, banner and rich media campaigns and all other marketing programs targeted at driving new customers to the company's websites. Conduct research for online advertising and linkage partnerships. Develop additional linking opportunities for the company websites. Recommend and initiate new web advertising opportunities and partnership opportunities. Initiate new techniques to improve search engine marketing and online advertising programs. Research industry, competitors and online marketing benchmarks. Report on our marketing campaign penetration, campaign results, and ROI and make recommendations for future strategies. Report on our website activities, traffic patterns, visitor trends, and ROI and make recommendations for future strategies. Draft and submit press releases and monitor industry forum and chat boards. Identify new areas for growth and expansion.

Mail Marketing: Maximize revenue through the email channel. Deliver a compelling customer email experience, optimizing open rates, click rates, unsubscribe rates, etc. Develop and update email channel strategic and operational plans. Maintain email policies and procedures and understand email legislation and its implications for us. Stay abreast of industry best practices. Understand how and why our customers use our email, and how we can increase relevance. Develop and generate email channel reports and analysis. Develop new email products & services. Help improve our database marketing capabilities where appropriate (member profiling, email targeting, etc.) for targeted floral specials. Deliver and manage company newsletters and mailing lists. Design and create e-mail pieces for marketing campaigns. Track progress of e-mail campaigns through different analysis tools.

Social Marketing: Can create and design a viral/web marketing campaign to fit our targeted demographics. Skilled at creating and designing social networking pages and creating blogs. Proficient in creating and posting content. Ability to use back linking tactics and get valuable consumer research and feedback. Ability to create reports for management.

2+ years HTML editing
2+ years experience with Photoshop for web, e-mail and print marketing
1+ years Experience with e-mail service such as Constant Contact

Flexibility: Able to work outside of schedule if need be and work weekends. Some peak business periods may require extended workdays and work weeks.
