The location... get ready for traffic as it is located at 360 & mopac. The management is very disillusioned into what it actually takes to keep product online. Constant outages every 24-48 hours will ensure that you never get a good night sleep as clients will be calling you at all hours wondering why they are paying top dollar for beta access. Even approaching management with thoughts toward improvement will initiate an immediate "arms crossed" closed minded reaction followed by career ending isolation. This is not an open minded company, get in line and do what your told is the attitude here. Have an idea or working on a project to resolve issues.. better keep your eyes down monkey. This company used to be great, but has slowly eroded over time. Need help from IT? They can be observed watching netflix, loudly cursing, online gaming, taking extended lunches, or generally just walking around doing nothing really; but you can submit a ticket which offers some hope eventually.. maybe.. if they ever get around to it, because just like their management "they are very busy working and under staffed". Hoping to get a raise? Oil is down, so jobs and turn over are high. Bottom line is there appears to be high level disorganization, a lack of understanding at what it takes to keep the lights on.. which is unusual for a software company. There are no real opportunities to make career advances. Oh and the pay is subpar, unless you are management.. they seem to take care of each other if you know what I mean. I would say this company is better than working fast food, but not by much.
