Driver Placement

We work with you personally: Pro Driver Placement, Inc. was established in May of 1995 as a professional OTR Truck Driver Recruiting Service dedicated to the placement of CDL-A licensed Drivers & Owner Operators in the Transportation Industry. We started out recruiting for various commercial and company-owned Truck Driving Schools. However, we now – more... only deal with licensed, experienced CDL-A Truck Owners or company truck drivers who want to become Owner Operators.

We sell tractors through various Freightliner SelecTrucks Dealerships. This gives us a supply of fresh, but experienced Owner Operators looking for a good home. We are a professional Third-party Recruiting Service and not a lead service. We never sell or forward your information to anyone. We screen and work with you as a truck owner to get a clean application with good working phone numbers and all the documentation that is required to process your application quickly, efficiently, and securely! Notice that we do not ask for your private identification over the Internet.

Whether you decide to go ahead and get your own Motor Carrier's Authority or to run as an independent contractor owner operator under someone else's "colors" we can help put the who transaction together for you from start to finish.

We work with various Motor Carriers of all sizes and locations to make your transition into your own business as smooth as possible. Step one is to call and leave the details to us. We will give you a step by step assistance and keep you informed as we go.

We are paid by the trucking companies and SelecTrucks Dealers as part of their marketing budget in most cases. There is no fee or a loss to the driver to use our services. In fact, it may cost you if you do not use someone who has options for you. Otherwise they have only one agenda, theirs! Options are a good thing, for you the SelecTrucks buyer and future owner operator.

We work hard to help you understand and keep abreast of the whole process and provide options for you based on your own personal circumstance:

The main reason that you would want to work through us is that we offer a "turnkey" solution for you and can assist you from your SelecTrucks purchase all the way into Orientation in a timely manner with a good Carrier, either one that you have chosen or one of the choices that we can offer you in most cases. We feature some smaller trucking companies that you might never find in a truck magazine or on the Internet. They usually offer more unique Independent Contractor opportunities for Owner Operators. And, you can almost always reach a real person when you call. If you do have to leave your name and number on our voice mail, we pride ourselves on prompt responses to your messages.

We offer choices for you and can give you several options instead of just one "take it or leave it" offer from the average Dealer or Recruiter.

Finally, we are brutally honest with you about what we are offering. It is to our long-term advantage that when you make it into Orientation that everyone is "singing off the same page and out of the same book! " We believe that the only surprise that you should have at the time of your SelecTrucks delivery and your Owner Operator Orientation is a pleasant one.

We hope you will take the time to read the Trucking Tutorials and look at the information that we provide for you BEFORE you purchase from SelecTrucks, including our links page. It is all relevant to your trucking career and we hope that you find it helpful.

Please call us with questions or if you do not see exactly what you are looking for on the site. Everything that we offer is not always listed on the sites: – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
