Not that we all do not work hard, but when you are working overtime by 10-15 hours every week on a salary that allows you to live paycheck to paycheck, it is very easy to get burned out when there is no reward for your hardwork. No promotions, no work life balance, no pat on the back. However, this is not true of every single department. There is not a good balance between departments and no one is treated the same across the company. It's tough to see other teams get all the rewards and perks while they play and you struggle to get ahead. I wouldn't say do not apply here but just know that DSW sells and talks a big game about being a favorite place to work, but they have a LONG way to go before the even come close.
