Long hours and fast paced. I learned the cash register, how to unload trucks, and use the bail compacter to crush all boxes. I would assist the patients with their incoming prescriptions and pick up.
I learned how to multitask between register and filling.
The management staff were helpful with answering all my questions.
The co-workers were very professional.
The hardest part of the job was learning their insurance policies.

i really didn't enjoy working at duane reade. The management is bad and my co workers didn't take the job seriously.

A typical day work at the pharmacy was easy going but busy at times. My co-workers and management staff were very reliable at times.

Retrieving prescription orders
Counting, pouring, measuring and weighing tablets and medications
Mixing medications
Selecting the proper prescription container
Creating prescription labels
Maintaining patient profiles
Completing cash register transactions

It was a nice experience, got to meet different type of people

IT'S NOT HARD TO GET COMFORTABLE AND FEEL SECURE WITH THIS JOB. ITS FRIENDLY AND WORK IS ALWAYS THERE.

Work from 8 to 12 hour stocking shelvesin the daytime and the overnight. I interacted with the employers and the supervisor in a ploite manner that would bennifit the appearance the store

Its a fast pas job and you have to a multitask person and that's the reason i liked working there.

Duane Reade is a workplace that has room for personal growth and development. It a company that ensures team work and smile is what needed to provde the best customer service.

When I first started working for Duane Reade it was okay. But then the mangers started to be very rude. And alot of employees including me got out hours cut. But I had to quit because I had a death in a family and had to go out of town.

each day was very productive, interesting people to work with.

Very organized. We as employees made sure to meet all expectations of the customers.

Everyday customers were there, so it was easier to help them.

It was a nice store, respectful customers, friendly co-workers, low pay, good union but bad benefits, management was bad they didnt allow us to our work in a peaceful manner.

Duane Reade is the best spot for a new Cpht to start their career.. Is flexible and they really teach you how to do everything..

Long hours without managerial supervison can be fun, unless they blame you for other workers' poor work habits.

Mellow area of work, wasn't quick pace though it was in an area of alot of traffic.
