Warehouse Laborer/Forklift Oper./Invty Super., Benicia, CA - April 11, 2016
A typical days work is full of counting products on shelves, maintaining an accurate inventory, promote a healthy work flow among those I supervise. lifting boxes well over 50 pounds, forklifts and other machinery. The expansion upon my ability to lead developed here. I also learning how to operate multiple types of forklifts and other types of machinery such as molding injectors, industrial box crushers, pallet jacks, hand scanners, inventory computer programs to name a few. My co-workers were all very dedicated to the job and were great listeners when it came to following instructions. one of the more difficult aspects of being a supervisor is making sure the work flow goes as smoothly as possible as well as maintaining the safety of the crew and integrity of the accuracy of the inventory. One of the biggest highlights of this particular job was the job security. Very little people could do what i did, which isn't saying TOO much because co-workers and even managers were not willing to learn or take on the responsibility required to preform the tasks at hand.
