Refractive Communications Coordinator, Overland Park, KS - October 15, 2015
This was a wonderful place to work, I kept busy by faxing or scanning any new documents, then answer the phone throughout the day and check patients in for eye appointments or surgery. Also, I would bill out patients at the end of the day and put together their electronic chart. I learned about eye terminology, surgeries and medical billing. This job improved my customer service skills and my multitasking skills as well. My co-workers were very helpful and supportive, they assisted me in understanding new information and dealing with stress. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to interact with patients and see their eye sight get better. The hardest part of the job was balancing the many duties I had to do at one time.
