The local management team use bait and switch tactics to attract a constant rotation of new hires to compensate for a significant churn in personnel. If you can get past the blatant favoritism to a handful of employees receiving preferential treatment in regards to scheduling, territory and the type ($) of work issued. The work overall can still be rewarding.
Fair wage, work independently a majority of the time
local management, schedule, lack of necessary equipment

Best practices have been ignored and any attempt to suggest improvements have been met with defensiveness and derision. Any opportunity to grow and advance has been squashed in this toxic culture. inflated egos, office politics and administrative incompetence would prove to be bigger obstacles. These dynamics are not conducive to process-improvement, innovation, and productivity. Personnel are going cowboy without so much as a communication between team members and I have never been more ineffectively micromanaged in my entire career.
Nice work spaces complete with Foosball & Pool table
Foosball and pool table are not conducive to conducting work related phone calls

The company is soon to embrace a similar approach to Google office where employees are encouraged to be themselves while being productive. Looking forward to the experience. Never had pool table, comfortable chairs, showers, big screens. This new approach will make the employees even more loyal to the company.
Complete chaos. Dycom spends large amounts of money on projects that never get completed. The good employees eventually leave. Recruiters have a hard time placing candidates there as the reputation is so bad for employees.
