Our client has several immediate Customer Service Representative Positions located in Palo Alto.
The Customer Service Representative will help our customers be successful by answering their questions. We will want you to answer simple questions directly, and route complex questions to senior staff. This is an entry level position. This is a DIRECT PLACEMENT Position.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a call center, or customer service environment

Your day starts by reviewing your Dashboard, to identify Cases and Tasks that have been assigned to you. Prioritize which ones you should handle first. In most cases, you’ll be collecting key pieces of information, and either passing the request to a Customer Care Representative, or providing the customer with a resolution to their request. When interacting with the customer, 60% of the time you’ll do this via telephone, and 40% via e-mail.
Throughout the day you’ll interact with a variety of customers, shipping companies, co-workers, and business partners. You’ll have an opportunity to work with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Administration.
On a day to day basis, you’ll find your ability to multi-task and problem solve a welcomed asset. As you become more and more proficient at your work, you’ll find that your pace increases, and your ability to help customers increases over time.
