Less than satisfactory workplace culture

Overworked and under appreciated employees. There is a lot of turn over in many of the positions.

Upper management needs to invest more time and money into taking care of their employees.

The VP of HR is a bully.

Great leadership with that encouraged innovation and improvements. Human Resources team was great to work with but the culture needed improvement but the nature of the industry didn't encourage much collaboration. Over all great experience and learned a wealth of knowledge.

Outdated Company with no potential

Poor Management and lack of focus. Their spend is unsustainable and their only viable product is not promising.

Typically, I would not agree with all of the negative reviews about this company.

Management's poor communication results in lack of productivity and they do not have top talent.

Position eliminated

Unfortunately, after working at Dynavax for 7 months, the Company's first product was not approved by the FDA and my position was eliminated. I was hired in anticipation of commercial approval.

I supported a large team and two C-level executives.

The executive management team is top-notch, and the culture is a nice balance of professional and personable.

I had a hand in numerous special projects, and managed company-wide travel.

I assisted with Audit Committee material, drafted high-level correspondence and supported Investor Relations.

I handled confidential information, contracts, and documentation on a regular basis. I had vision over 25 calendars. I was in the epicenter of activity, and loved it.
