Can keep you busy
Crane Operator, Nuclear Worker (Former Employee), McGuire, Oconnee, Catawba –
Pros: steady work depending on your needs, a paycheck
Cons: recruiter is hard to call, hard to advance, can't believe all your told
Pay is minimal to the low side for the nuclear industry.
Each work site is self managed, If you work Major Mods or in house long term. don't expect to do outage work at the other sites. You will be told "stories" to get you to stay on.
Training is dependant upon job needs, not your advancement maybe you will get lucky.
DZ has very good safety culture!

Worked – more...  the Duke Energy sites. felt like one of them most of the time.

The employee workforce is comprised of allot of retirees. I look for allot of changes in the next 5 years. along with a Duke ownership merge with Progress Energy – less
