E. Brace Tool Inc . was founded in 1983 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, the heart of oilfield manufacturing. The original manufacturing facility specialized in conventional wireline products, specialty tool design, service, and rentals. By 1995, the rapid growth of the wireline industry necessitated an expansion into production machines and more technical personnel. With the addition of CNC production equipment, and our reputation for quality tools and customer service, opportunities for international export in wireline products was realized. Today 20% of sales are outside of Canada.
Besides the conventional surface and downhole equipment, E. Brace Tool Inc. manufactures its own designed hydraulic single shot mechanical tubing perforators, sandline cutters , and selective bridge plug firing heads. All of which come with an optional fluid control safety feature to accommodate the slickline operations. Our product line now includes a full line of downhole profile nipples and sliding sleeves. To backup completion equipment, we supply a full line of conventional plugs and chokes.
With a good knowledge of the manufacturing of slickline tools, the progression into E-line tools has evolved, eg. Centralizers, Tungsten Weight Bars, E-line Rope Sockets and specialized Fishing Clamps. We also manufacture tools for highly corrosive H 2S working conditions, using a selection of high tensile nickel alloys.
