Evem though I support 5 engineering development labs on 3rd shift by my self for offshore support, I still feel like I am part of a team.
Principal LabSystems Engineer (Current Employee) – Hopkinton, MA – October 31, 2015
EMC is a great place to work, In a typical day I support the offshore development community by installing, reconfiguring, and troubleshooting issues on the network, servers, and storage arrays.
Working in the Engineering research and development labs I get exposed to and learn about the latest technologies that are implemented into EMC's storage products. Management provides guidance and support to do my job. The lab support team is a great group of people willing to do what it takes to get the jib done. The hardest part of the job is there are not many resources available on 3rd shift to help out with issues. some issues need to be deferred to the 1st shift for resolution.
The most enjoyable part of my job is the satisfaction of being part of a team and helping to contribute to the completion of projects and goals on time.
