Seeking "customer-centric" assistant for support of the development of specialty event websites and marketing materials for major fundraising events. Our nonprofit clients outsource detailed work to our team and count on our outstanding service. The position we seek to fill assists the client services director as its primary function.
In addition, the position will provide day-to-day assistance to company president and to the sales/marketing efforts, as needed. Assist in all aspects of day to day operations of this small and growing company.
This is a busy, fast-paced environment with peak seasons from April-June and from late Sept-Nov. Must be able to multi-task, manage many projects simultaneously and have excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Knowledge of nonprofits and fundraising events a plus. Strong people skills and excellent grammar are critical. Hours will range from 40 to 20/week and may include some short layoffs during our off season. In reality, the quick growth of the company will likely require year-round presence in a relatively short time.
