Not for the faint of heart, our early stage biotech venture is looking for a passionate, motivated, dedicated individual to intern with our company this spring.
Much work can be done remotely, however, you must have excellent communication skills. As an intern, we would expect you to be interested in learning about entrepreneurship in the biotech field, and be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a scientific or engineering field.* Our company is developing and commercializing a noninvasive sensor for remote blood glucose monitoring in people with diabetes. Compassion and understanding in this field is a plus.
Broad range of skills include:
Handling of sensitive and confidential information, writing marketing pieces, assisting with grant writing & crowd-funding, applying technical expertise and innovative thinking in biotech and/or electrical engineering. Previous web design work is a plus!
Approximate commitment time expected ~20 hours per week. Unpaid internship, yet invaluable experience. Please send resume to Laura with a few words about yourself describing why you would be the ideal candidate.
*If you fall outside this qualification, but still feel you would be the person for the job, please don't hesitate to send your resume and reasons why you feel you fit the description.
