Lack of management skills.
Bookkeeper/Customer Service (Former Employee) – Fort Wayne, IN – September 22, 2015
After much thought on the matter and taking into account the events which have transpired over the course of several months before I resigned, I found that my professional skills, strong work ethic, outstanding customer service were no longer appreciated by this store. What started out as a place of good employment, with focus on customer service and where employees were told we were "IMPORTANT" changed within 6months after this store opened its doors. Working with several of these moody managers was like walking on eggshells at times, they did not have people skills!
There was one coworker that had several conflicts with other coworkers, management did not handle this according to the Employee Handbook, if these were customers that this worker was talking to, this employee would have been fired! So once I no longer wanted to work my shift because of this person, it was time to resign.
I was hired as a Book Keeper, but felt more like a Cashier and Janitor. This location was under staffed hurting its focus on customer service, and low pay for all the duties we had to do!
This store has a very big turn over with employees, I would hope by now HR would be wondering why !!
Unskilled managers, No breaks, Low Pay
