This position serves as a front-line liaison between patients, practitioners (clinical staff), physicians, and the financial services of East Coast Orthotic & Prosthetic Corp.
Greet patients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
Process referrals received via practitioner
Calculate a patient’s deductible and co-insurance, when applicable
Enter patient demographics, insurance information, work order, prescription, notes and scan documents into Fastrack (software) and Prometheus (web portal)
Ensure that the chart compliance and send to billing.
Answer daily telephone calls from practitioners/patients: (Calls regarding patient balances/payments, patient appointments, and paperwork deliveries)
Maintain/Update Google calendars and spreadsheets
Daily communication with Team Leads and Purchasing Department
Follow up on pending authorizations (anything over 5 days old) and on custom deliveries
Bi-lingual Candidates are strongly preferred.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Experience with Insurance Companies a Plus
Work Experience in Medical Office/ Hospital Preferred
