Assistant Store Manager, New Haven, CT - January 5, 2016
I worked at Goodwill first as a materials handler before managing a donation center and finally as a assistant store manager. I would make sure the overall appearance of the store was acceptable, assisted customers with returns and requests, and cashed out the registers at the end of shifts. The organization as a whole I admire but worked for a manager and sales manager that did not seen to value it employees. The enjoyable part of the job was forming relationships with regular customers and setting sales goals. The hardest part was working in an environment where there was a lot of petty bickering amongst employees and managers.
