Could be a great place to work
Account Rep (Former Employee) – Kingsport, TN – September 28, 2015
Eastman is the only game in the Tri-Citites area and corporately they seem to take advantage of that. For a long time Eastman has been considered "the" place to work, due to culture and benefits. Through the past few years and several leadership changes the culture that people raved about has slowly changed. What used to be a family first environment has moved to a competitive "dog eat dog" world. There are still some in management who are doing their best to preserve the once great internal reputation, however that mentality has left them in the minority and softened their voice.
There are plenty of opportunities for individuals to excel and continue to advance, but the price becomes very high to do this. Be prepared to be continuously pushed to give more effort and time as the industry sees more consolidation and more need to be more productive with their business processes.
Great pay and benefits for entry-level.
