Enjoyed training others for jobs at Kodak
Material Handler III (Former Employee), Windsor, CO –
Pros: excellent benefits, being able to work as much overtime possible
Cons: the rotating shifts
I worked as a material handler moving product, loading/unloading trucks, delivering needed inventory, and shipping and receiving. Data entry using SAP. I trained operators to drive and operate fork lifts with class room and hands on. The most enjoyable part was training. I love working with people.

All of us thought we would retire from Kodak
Application Engineer - Business Imaging Systems (Former Employee), Seattle, WA –
Pros: paid well, independence and much reosurces available
Cons: company folded underneath our feet.
We were a full service company. Self insured, internally educated and trained. Great company to work for until the digital market took away their cash cow.
Top management was unable to see the market change and adapt. They missed many opportunities due to indecision.
In the end they started closing profitable divisions to raise cash.

High rewards for – more...  hard work. Worked hard and played hard was our motto.
Independence was paramount. All of the employees were professionals and performed the work with litte supervision
I enjoyed my fellow Kodak friends, our customers and the outside work.
Minimal company meetings. – less

Educational and challenging work place.
Senior Systems Research Technician (Former Employee), Rochester, NY –
Pros: setup, testing, troubleshooting and repair.
Cons: equipment failure, defective parts and chemicals.
I had my own lab with four highly technical test fixtures. A jetting module print head would be delivered to me for life test. Fluid (ink) would be delivered to jetting module via a flluid delivery system and test would run 24/7 until failure. Data was collected and put into a Excel spreadsheet to analyze by an engineer. I maintained the fluid system – more...  by maintenance, diagnostics and repair. – less

Cons: getting home at 12 midnight on friday nights.
Working with technology, travel. Learning up to date technology of image sharing and computers. Strict, but, fair management. Peers are always willing to help solve issues. Sometimes being away from family. Self accomplishment for installing new equipment and training customers on it.

Shift Lead (Former Employee), Lookout Mountain, GA –
Pros: being able to laugh and cut up, having a great time learning new things daily.
Cons: no way of moving up, everyone stays with the company, leaving no room for advancement.
You could laugh and cut up as long as you did your job.
I learned some computer skills as well as a lot about camras'.
The management was okay.
I had some awesome co-workers and have seen a lot come and go.
The hardest part of the job was having to get use to new employees constantly.

Skilled Contracts Administrator with an excellent reputation for maintaining and processing legal contracts for Kodak Sales.
US&C Contracts Manager (Current Employee), Rochester, NY –
I work with all functions at various levels within Kodak (and outside customers) negotiating, drafting and finalizing Sales contracts for US and Canada regions. The day is interesting because you constantly learn new things, new products for Kodak based on different strategies and how to work with different people so that everyone's needs are met and – more...  done so, with respect. I think the most enjoyable part of my job is the constant change aspect, it is never the same day to day. – less

overall an excellent place to work.
Retail Store Manager (Former Employee), Colon, Republic of Panama. –
My best experience of a lifetime. Working with this company gave me all the work experience I have now. I learned a lot. I started working in the warehouse for 3 moths, then promoted to traffic clerk, then as a sales person in the stores, then as a traffic coordinator and my last position was Retail Sales Manager.
my hardest part of the job was to deal – more...  with co-workers with too much envy, thanks God were few of them. And to deal with angry customers but again very very few of them. My best part of the job was dealing with customers, and listening comments about our great services, the satisfaction of my supervisor and the General Manager. My experience here in USA has been all the oposite not quite of course but a big difference. – less

Operations Manager (Former Employee), Hollywood, CA –
Pros: great perks
Cons: 12 hour work days
My typical work day is all management duties, driving the business and maintaining employee morale. One of the most important things iv'e learned from this company is, drive sales and keep labor down. Coworkers were great to work with, the hardest part of the job was maintaining a good work staff.
