Position Summary:

The National Sales Manager (NSM) is a key member of the management team and participates in the company’s strategic planning and business planning activities. The NSM is responsible for the performance and development of the Sales and Customer Service team, and for leading them towards the achievement of EasyClosets’ profitability and growth plans. The NSM establishes plans for the team that align with company’s mission, values and financial goals. Direct reports include the inside sales representatives and the customer service supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop a plan to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Representatives
  • Set Sales Representatives’ goals. Track individual performance, including goal attainment, call activity, talk time, etc. as individuals and as a team
  • Conduct regular coaching and counseling through one-on-one review with all Sales Representatives to build effective
  • communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales Representative team
  • Support sales team in preparation of designs and pricing as needed
  • Provide presence, direct leadership, and coaching within the sales team
  • Provide timely feedback to General Manager
  • Work closely with Marketing to understand and manage conversion rates by lead source
  • Hire, train and develop Sales team members as necessary
  • Exemplify for the sales team the appropriate character, commitment, selling skills, and work habits
  • Responsible for the scheduling and attendance of the Sales team to provide proper coverage
  • Use Salesforce.com (SFDC) to understand sales performance and customer behavior, and propose changes to processes as needed
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in Salesforce.com
  • Attend industry conferences to network and increase industry knowledge

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of successful sales management experience

o A background in E-Commerce a plus
o Familiarity with automated phone systems a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM system
  • Ability to develop and understand metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
