An entry-level opportunity is available in our small grub related startup. Position entails marketing, community event planning, sales, and social media. A one month paid training course is required.

You must be a very social and outgoing individual that is confident enough to host, market, and systematize multiple local events. Must obtain the following skills:
-Thoroughly enjoy people, food, and food related events
-An intelligent individual that possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
-The ability to write a variety of marketing and communications materials such as email newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, press releases and more (additional training will be provided).
-Be comfortable using a computer on a daily basis (programs include e-mail, Skype, and Internet)
-Comfortable with social media usage involving Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest,
-Willing to get out of your comfort zone
-General knowledge of your community and its surroundings
-Able to approach individuals in a welcoming manner
-Have a college degree and have 1-5+ years of professional work experience
You will not only be planning local events from A-Z, but you will be partaking in the events as a local representative of Eat Our City! A part time position is available with the opportunity to go full time, based on self growth and performance evaluations.
