There is a new café coming to Sterling Heights that is looking for an outstanding Assistant Manager. As the Assistant Manager, your responsibility would include being the right-hand person to the General Manager, and for providing motivational leadership to your team and oustanding service to our customers. You should be passionate, with experience in the restaurant industry (barista or coffee shop experience a plus), inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. It would be required of the Assistant Manager to be hands-on in all elements of the restaurant maintaining the highest standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and facility management.
Eat Well Café is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation under the guidance of Heritage Church in Sterling Heights, MI. The mission of the café is to provide quality food and an unmatched customer experience while supporting various local and global causes with the profits. It’s “beyond eating…”
- Must have 3+ years restaurant (or coffee house) experience (management a plus)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays as necessary
- Must have the "run it like you own it" mentality
