Sr Data Entry Specialist, PCS, Houston, TX - April 25, 2015
The AR department isn't as bad as working in the Lab, but it's still very unprofessional over there. Management cares more about whose trying to suck up to them, and if you don't they dislike you if you value the quality of your work more. The lab is terrible! Management is extremely unprofessional. They discuss employee issues on the floor around other employees with other members of management. The tone they use when speaking with you is unprofessional. Your issues or business will be departmental business, because they're unprofessional. They treat PCS's like bottom of the barrel dirt. I'm educated, but they generally speak to everyone like they're ghetto, uneducated, or stupid. They have their favorites and pretty much let them sit around, or go outside and smoke and not have their phones in ready. There's only a small amount of people who actually do their jobs. If you don't do your job no one bats an eye, but if you do your job it's like you become a target. PCS's basically do everyone's job in the lab and are paid the least and treated the worst. The lead techs have bad attitudes, and act like they can't be bothered. There's basically no raises unless you're a male or they like you. The company in general isn't bad I guess. Admin and HR are very nice people and working in AR I interacted with them more and have no complaints. The company hosted event days are very nice like quarterly birthday days, breakfasts, and new hire socials.
