ERAS Seasonal Analyst/Client Services Agent (Former Employee) –  3624 Market Street Philadelphia, PANovember 13, 2017
Nice environment, nice pay and nice delegation of work. The company provided food in office and plenty of team building events to boost employee morale.

I felt as though management head hunts and chooses people to try to fire on purely discriminatory basis'.
Pros
1 hr lunches
Cons
Over the top strict with phone policy

Over three years of working here and have had no chance for advancement in my position even when you go above and beyond what you are expected to do.
Little to no professional management of your career.

ECFMG overall is pretty good company to work for. The benefits are some of the best I have come across in my work career. The culture here is very unique and people here make you feel welcomed.

ECFMG is a good job if you are a ladder climber and like to work in an atmosphere that is cut throat. Management is very unprofessional and gossip among themselves.

Ok. Not much to say. It is a job. A lot of flexibility with time and great benefits. job security but not much room for advancement unless you live in Philadelphia.

Proctor (Former Employee) –  El Segundo, CADecember 30, 2016
Co-workers are nice once you are hired. After the newness wears off, you start to see people for who they are - jealous, vindictive and hateful. A few co-workers are more concerned about how many days you are given to work compared to what they are given since you're all "part time as needed." Those few try and run the new hires away by being hateful which leads to a hostile environment. The Manager and the Director are clueless - not only to what the daily work of the proctors consist of, but also to the negative attitudes/treatment displayed towards the new hires by a few of the co-workers. Try opening the eyes of management as to what goes on amongst some of the co-workers. They'll label YOU as the troublemaker who has "disrupted the harmony within the workplace." Those who create a hostile environment all of a sudden "cry wolf" in order to protect their job. Not worth the heartache!
Pros
Flexibility of work schedule, free lunches and overall easy job!
Cons
Poor management!

Standardized Patient (Current Employee) –  Houston, TXJanuary 23, 2016
The organization's mission is top priority but carried out in such a way that makes every employee feel appreciated and supported. Management and trainers genuinely care, and provide feedback that is structured and constructive. I feel very fortunate to be part of this company.
Pros
Management, training, employee appreciation, sweet benefits, opportunities for advancement.

Employees know more than management
Former employee (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAAugust 25, 2015
A typical day at work was totally unorganized. Meetings that were scheduled for a specific time started whenever employees drifted in or were cancelled altogether on a moments notice. The meetings consisted of discussing people's employment shortcomings, at length, over and over, til the horse was dead. Management did not know much about the inner functions of the department and training was lacking. They did not give any expectations and communication was poor. anagement was very unprofessional. Co-workers were nice and did most of the training.
Pros
benefits, paid transportation, tuition reimbursement
Cons
bad management, girls club, company culture

Nice place to work with caveats
Credentialing Specialist (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAApril 4, 2015
This is a pretty good place to work with excellent benefits, but advancement is far to nil for most and for the "favorites," they can advance pretty far. All in all, it's a girl's club at its core so if you're a male, you're going to have a hard time advancing. The training is consistent but erratically taught. I would suggest this place if you're toward the end of your career or the very beginning of it, but I wouldn't suggest you stay here.
Pros
Nice co-workers, great benefits
Cons
Favoritism, girls club, advancement with a price for some

Hidden Gem
Hallway Proctor (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILNovember 17, 2014
Day consists primarily of making sure examinees get to the right room and typing station for each round of the exam. Friendly co-workers and management. Very easy to get time off for part-time. Fewer shifts available during the slower months. Hardest part of job is fighting the boredom, but during the downtime, staff is allowed to read, write, or talk.
Pros
Paid lunch, insurance for part-time after 2 years
Cons
Limited advancement

a very unproducitve place to work.
Regional Advisor (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PASeptember 30, 2014
Typical day of work is to come into the office with no direction or communication amongst managers and employees. Employees have to communcate within each other to try to figure out what needs to be done.

Hardest part of the the job is effectively communicatiing with management.

The most enjoyable part of the job is helping the applicants.

I have been a PT seasonal employee and a FT employee, and I have never worked in a better environment. Great pay, awesome benefits, the company is one of the healthiest places to work in Philadelphia, and you never feel stressed or upset here. Everyone is great. I was trying to give 5 stars all the way down, but INDEED will not let me.
Pros
flexible hours, work from home, great benefits

ECFMG Overwork with no management ability
ECFMG (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMay 26, 2013
ECFMG has no work balance with work and home life. Values of the company is not within it's policy. Overwork with no raises or little raise. Management does not have enough experience or training. They use different benefits to entice you or make up for the work load. They say their is advancement within the company but only hire up based on who you are and not by your experience. Yearly evaluations are just weed out the weak employees. Also this company is hire at will so they can fire you at anytime for any reason without any explanation. In which upon hire they make you sign this form.
