Hands on individual to oversee Front Office & Night Audit operations on the overnight shift. Manage all guest services situations and the completion of the audit function. The Night Auditor will oversee all functions of the Front Office during the PM shift. Maximizes guest satisfaction and room revenue.
Excellent English verbal & written communication skills. The ability to provide excellent customer service and make decisions without a lot of supervision. FSD License preferred! Job responsibilities see below.
The Front Desk Clerk is a member of the Front Office team. S/he is responsible for: maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate good computer skills; accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time; lift 25 pounds or more; present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor. Must be able to work holidays and weekends, and flexible for all 3 shifts, No other commitments.
Job Responsibilities (Guest Services/Night Auditor):
-Handle guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with hotel credit and cash handling policies in an efficient and friendly manner. Cancel room reservations according to procedures.
-Maintain friendly and outgoing personality.
-Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner according to procedures.
- Assures that front desk is covered and maintained at all times.
- Registers and checks guests in and out of hotel.
- Enters and validates guest information into computer terminal
- Handles switchboard, telephone calls and wake up calls, as required.
Qualifications/Requirements (Guest Services/Night Auditor):
Ability to work a flexible schedule including all 3 Shifts, weekends and holidays. Proven team player with a high level of energy and motivation. Must be friendly, personable and outgoing. Bilingual and FSD Certified Preferred. Must have extensive customer service experience.
