Business Development Representative (Former Employee) – San Diego, CA – September 27, 2017
They have been around since the mid-90's and are not a recognized name in the cyber security field. They low-balled me on the offer and promised rapid advancement. The ONLY good things about working there was the office is nice and they pay 75% of benefits. The co-workers are good people. But this company has been turned over a few times. Management is poor. The marketing was horrendous.
They don't acquire much new business and give steep discounts to keep clients. This company is positioning themselves for a buy out. If not, their "business model" is all wrong. I would bit recommend working here. Classic case of "bait & switch", with a few catered lunches thrown in for good measure.
Great people, Great product, Terrible managment leadership
Sales Engineer (Former Employee) – San Diego, CA – May 9, 2012
Great product and a company with very nice people in the workforce. I worked closely with several departments. Hardest part of job is wondering if you are going to have one. Sales are continually lacking due to terrible leadership by the VP of Sales. The department under his watch has never hit any of their numbers and this VP lays people off at the end of quarters as blame rather than just step down. In contrast the VP before him never missed any numbers, ever. He was let go by the CEO who did not like him refusing to be a "yes" man. Benefits are standard but NO 401K matching. The CEO took a 75K increase when the company lost millions and the employees have seen no raises for years. Yet all the executives get annual raises. Just not fair.
good people in workforce
terrible management, employees not valued, no matching 401k.
